Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team has entered a multi-year partnership with Adidas, making the German sportswear brand the official kit supplier in the post-Lewis Hamilton era. This marks the end of the long-standing partnership with Puma, which concluded following a challenging 2024 season where Mercedes finished fourth in the Constructors' Championship. The deal with Adidas had been anticipated for some time. As part of the agreement, Mercedes will launch a specially designed collection for fans, featuring a range of apparel, footwear, and accessories. Limited edition items will be available throughout the season. The full Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team kit and collection will be officially unveiled next month, just ahead of the Australian Grand Prix on March 16th, kicking off the new season.

Off the track, we will bring a fresh perspective to the sport by introducing exciting lifestyle products and extending the reach to a new generation of fans. We look forward to supporting Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 and to win together.'

Mercedes-AMG F1 Team Principal Toto Wolff said: 'Our partnership with Adidas is a clear statement of intent as we begin to write our next chapter as a team. adidas is an iconic brand, one that shares our dedication not only to peak performance but to style and sophistication too. This announcement therefore represents a groundbreaking collaboration that will redefine what team and fanwear mean in our sport. We are excited to break this new ground and work with Adidas as we collectively strive to fight for world championships.'

F1: New Driver Partnership

For the first time since their debut in 2010, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team will not have a Formula 1 World Champion on their roster. While this might seem like a setback to some, Team Principal Toto Wolff remains confident in the team's young driver lineup.

George Russell, now the most experienced driver on the team, demonstrated strong leadership last season. As he enters his seventh year in Formula One, Russell is at the peak of his career.
