For the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix this weekend, more than half of the ten Formula 1 teams will be sporting updated liveries. The most significant redesign among them all has been unveiled by AlphaTauri, who is the sixth team to debut a new look for the inaugural race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. The livery of the Italian-based squad is "inspired by the latest AlphaTauri x Brendan Monroe Las Vegas Capsule Collection. "With this, the Red Bull junior squad now gets a black paint job with white stripes instead of their signature dark blue and white colour scheme. Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo's Scuderia AlphaTauri race cars will be wearing the special livery to mark the occasion and are anticipated to look amazing when they go down the famous Las Vegas Strip at night. Moreover, the team will also be using the recently debuted livery at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi the following week, when the 2023 season comes to an end. Besides AlphaTauri, Alfa Romeo, Red Bull, Alpine, Williams, and Ferrari are the other five teams that will be racing with new liveries at the Las Vegas GP.

The AlphaTauri x Brendan Monroe Las Vegas Capsule Collection served as the inspiration for the new livery, which has white speed streaks flowing down the bodywork. For the design, AlphaTauri has gone with a black engine cover and sidepods with white accent lines. The unique livery was autographed by Californian muralist and artist Monroe last night during a launch event held at the Intrigue Lounge in Las Vegas.
What Brendan Monroe Has to Say?
Brendan Monroe is a Los Angeles-based artist who creates abstract drawings and uses them to build large-scale murals and sculptures. “I was so excited to have the opportunity to work with AlphaTauri. Working together with the creative team at a fashion brand was very inspiring to me. They were instrumental in our collaboration from start to finish and they’ve produced so many beautiful pieces for this special capsule collection, remarked Brendan at the event.”
AlphaTauri CEO Shares His Thoughts
Speaking about the new livery, AlphaTauri CEO, Ahmet Mercan said, "In the very special setting of the Formula 1 Las Vegas race, we are celebrating the launch of this exclusive AlphaTauri Capsule Collection. It is a highlight in the context of our 'Fashion at the Races' momentum which started in February 2020 with an unforgettable Formula 1 launch event at Red Bull’s Hangar 7, in Salzburg, Austria, along with several other ground-breaking events, including an AlphaTauri US launch event at New York Fashion Week earlier this year."
As for the race, the track action begins one day earlier than usual on Thursday, and the final race is scheduled to take place on Saturday at 10:00 p.m. (local time). Thus, motorsport fans around the world will not have to wait too long to witness the newly-liveried AlphaTauri AT04 cars in motion.
