Haas has been cleared to transport its cars and equipment to Monza after settling a dispute with former sponsor Uralkali. The Russian company, which had taken legal action against Haas, confirmed it has received approximately USD 9 million and a Formula 1 car as part of the settlement. The team was temporarily held up in the Netherlands after a court-ordered intervention during the Dutch Grand Prix. Uralkali claimed Haas missed a July deadline to repay part of a cancelled sponsorship agreement. In June, a Swiss arbitration court ruled that while Haas was justified in terminating its title sponsorship deal following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the team still owed Uralkali a partial refund for the 2022 season. Haas was required to return funds received after March 4, 2022, when the deal was officially cancelled, and provide a Formula 1 car to Uralkali.

The Statement reads: 'Uralkali confirms that we have received in full the payment owed by Haas (including interest and fees) following the ruling of the Swiss court of arbitration. We have also collected the race car owed to us under the terms of the sponsorship agreement.
'As such, Uralkali has notified Dutch authorities that they may release Haas’ assets from arrest as an interim measure, and Haas is free to take them out of the Netherlands.'
F1: Haas and Uralkali
In 2021, the Haas F1 Team entered a major sponsorship deal with Uralkali, a Russian fertiliser company. The partnership provided a substantial financial boost and led to the signing of Russian driver Nikita Mazepin, with the team's car featuring the colours of the Russian flag.

However, in March 2022, Haas abruptly ended the partnership following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, cutting ties with both Uralkali and Mazepin. This led to a legal dispute, with Uralkali demanding a full refund of the sponsorship fees paid before the deal was terminated.
Haas has since been caught up in ongoing legal battles with Uralkali. Both sides are currently negotiating and involved in court proceedings to resolve their differences and determine the financial outcome of the terminated agreement.
