A return to Formula One racing with Red Bull, as previously suggested by Daniel Ricciardo, would serve as a "fairytale ending" to his career. Daniel Ricciardo was out of a Formula 1 drive in 2023 after a trying two years with McLaren. So, he went back to being a backup driver for Red Bull Racing. With Sergio Perez expected to fulfil his contractual obligation as Max Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull for the next season, the likelihood of a team opening up is low. But Ricciardo has already stated his desire to return to competition in 2024. He has even dropped hints that he would want to rejoin his former squad. In 2024, Ricciardo may join the Scuderia AlphaTauri, Red Bull's sister team. His future prospects of working for Red Bull may improve as a result. Dr. Helmut Marko, however, dismissed any possibility of Ricciardo succeeding Nyck de Vries in 2023. De Vries's position at AlphaTauri has been the subject of recent speculation, and Ricciardo's name has already surfaced in connection with those rumours.

F1: Could Ricciardo Replace Perez at Red Bull Racing?
In recent races, Red Bull driver Sergio Perez has been much slower than his teammate Max Verstappen. As a result of his recent qualifying struggles, Perez has lost a lot of ground behind Verstappen in the World Championship standings. As Perez falls further behind in the championship standings, Red Bull's backup driver, Daniel Ricciardo, has been mentioned as a potential replacement.
After a disappointing stint with McLaren in 2022, the Australian driver was welcomed back to Red Bull in 2023 as their backup. Ricciardo has been putting in a lot of extra effort behind the scenes since he returned to the Milton Keynes team. The 33-year-old has stated his intention to seek out new possibilities in the next season.
There is thus a strong possibility that Red Bull might replace Perez with Ricciardo if he continues to perform like he is. The Dutchman has been dominating in the second Red Bull vehicle, while the Mexican has been struggling.

F1 : Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo to Team Up at Red Bulls's Nordschleife Event
Red Bull will be running their championship winning cars at the Nordschleife. Both drivers have committed to using e-fuel, a renewable resource-based alternative to conventional petrol, in their Formula One vehicles.
Both drivers can't wait to race against each other on a historic course. Vettel will drive his championship-winning vehicle, while Ricciardo will drive Mark Webber's Formula One car. There are both slow and challenging turns as well as fast and long straightaways on the track, which the Australian driver is eager to tackle.
