The Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps will feature in Formula 1's rotational calendar, securing four races over the next six seasons. The circuit will host races in 2026, 2027, 2029, and 2031, skipping 2028 and 2030. Organisers had aimed for a five-year deal to maintain the race's presence, but rising interest from new venues and Formula 1's focus on expanding in Asia led to a rotational system for several European circuits. Spa-Francorchamps is a key part of the Formula 1 calendar, known for its mix of high-speed straights like the Kemmel Straight and demanding corners, including the iconic Eau Rouge and Raidillon. This historic track remains a favourite among fans and drivers.

Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, said: ‘The Belgian Grand Prix was one of the races that made up our maiden Championship in 1950, so as we kick off our 75th anniversary year it is fitting that we can share the news of this important extension.
