Russell's one-stop pit strategy helped him climb from sixth on the grid to win the race. Oscar Piastri of McLaren took third place, while pole-sitter Charles Leclerc finished fourth. Hamilton, who led early on, couldn't overtake Russell despite having fresher tyres, settling for second. Max Verstappen recovered from eleventh to fifth, extending his championship lead. Lando Norris finished sixth for McLaren, followed by Ferrari's Carlos Sainz. Sergio Perez dropped from second to eighth, adding pressure on his future with Red Bull. Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon scored points for Aston Martin and Alpine. This win marks Mercedes' third victory in the last four races.
