F1 Bahrain Grand Prix: Oscar Piastri Wins Ahead of Russell; Norris Completes the Top Three
Oscar Piastri’s Bahrain GP win moves him to P2 in the F1 standings, with Lando Norris still leading and George Russell in third.

Oscar won the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix with a dominant performance for McLaren. From pole position, Piastri led every lap and easily controlled the race pace. This win is his second of the season and moves him up to second in the Formula 1 drivers' standings. Mercedes driver George Russell claimed second place, holding firm between the two McLarens after a solid defensive drive. Lando Norris finished third and stayed on top of the championship leaderboard.

Ferrari stayed competitive with Leclerc in fourth and Lewis Hamilton in fifth. Red Bull’s Max Verstappen had a tough outing, finishing sixth after pit stop delays. Despite his troubles, Verstappen managed to hold on to valuable points in the title race
Alpine scored its first points of the season in Bahrain. Pierre Gasly took seventh and Haas' Esteban Ocon followed in eighth. Haas also secured a strong result, with rookie Ollie Bearman finishing tenth by making an early pit stop strategy work well.

Mercedes rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli came close to scoring his first points, ending the race in 11th after an impressive early run. Williams’ Alex Albon was the team’s only finisher in 12th. Initially, Kick Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg finished 13th but was later disqualified. Isack Hadjar and Jack Doohan finished 13th and 14th, respectively.

Aston Martin had a difficult race. Fernando Alonso ended up 15th, while teammate Lance Stroll placed 17th. Gabriel Bortoleto was 18th. Liam Lawson received a 10-second penalty and dropped to 16th. Sainz was the only race retiree after his Williams sustained damage in a collision with Yuki Tsunoda.
