The McLaren driver, who started from pole position, expertly navigated sudden rain and multiple safety car interventions, fending off a strong challenge from Max Verstappen. Mercedes' George Russell secured the final podium spot with an impressive drive, while Williams’ Alex Albon made headlines by finishing fifth. Andrea Kimi Antonelli secured fourth place after Mercedes successfully overturned his five-second penalty through a 'Right of Review' request.

Ferrari endured a disastrous race due to a poor strategy decision. Local hero Oscar Piastri delighted fans by recovering from a late spin, overtaking Hamilton on the final lap to finish ninth.
