F1: Aston Martin Reveals AMR25 Ahead of 2025 Formula 1 Bahrain Pre-season Test
The Aston Martin AMR25 features key F1 aerodynamic upgrades, with a refined front wing enhancing low-speed downforce and balance for improved cornering stability.

Aston Martin has revealed its 2025 Formula 1 car, the AMR25, featuring its signature green livery with key design changes. The biggest change is the reshaped sidepods, making it different from the AMR24. The team has also kept its pushrod suspension at both the front and rear. The AMR25’s launch follows a tough 2024 season, where Aston Martin finished fifth in the constructors' standings without a podium, despite securing eight in 2023. Unveiled at the F175 event alongside other teams' liveries, the AMR25 reflects Aston Martin’s commitment to making a strong comeback in the 2025 Formula 1 season.
Fernando Alonso said: 'We learnt a lot in 2024 and the team have been using that as a driving force as we head into this season with the AMR25. The competition is going to be very tight in this last year of the current regulations, but I know the team have been working hard at the AMRTC to make sure we are ready. I'm excited to get back on track; I am ready to help this team get stronger and continue this journey with Aston Martin Aramco.'

As a team, we all want to perform well and we will continue to learn over the course of the year. What we are building here is such an exciting project with great tools and talented people, and 2025 is a key year for us to make progress. I'm looking forward to the season ahead and getting back in the cockpit, starting with pre-season testing in Bahrain.'

The AMR25 features key aerodynamic upgrades designed to improve performance and stability. The front wing has been refined from last season’s design to enhance low-speed downforce and provide better balance through corners.
The most noticeable change is the redesigned sidepods, featuring a deep undercut and a sweeping channel along the upper surface to optimise airflow. To support this new design, Aston Martin has reconfigured the radiator layout to ensure efficient powertrain cooling.

At the rear, a sharp, jagged spine extends from the airbox to the rear wing, directing airflow more efficiently. These upgrades highlight Aston Martin’s focus on maximising aerodynamics and improving overall car performance for the 2025 Formula 1 season.
