The Red Bull Nurburgring event is scheduled for September 9, and AlphaTauri has just confirmed that Yuki Tsunoda will be competing in it. A number of legendary former Formula One drivers, including Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo, will be sharing the track with the young Japanese driver. At the Red Bull event, Yuki Tsunoda will be at the wheel of a Honda NSX GT3 Evo. In many racing series, the vehicle has finished in the top spots. Tsunoda will break the record for the youngest driver to complete the Nürburgring Nordschleife after the Red Bull Nurburgring exhibition. The previous month, Max Verstappen came clean about his desire to participate in this very same event. Helmut Marko told Verstappen he couldn't participate. The Red Bull star's disappointment was understandable given his enthusiasm for the competition. Marko thought it was for the best if Verstappen didn't participate due to the track's hazardous design and the likelihood of an accident occurring.

F1: Yuki Tsunoda to Leave Red Bull?
In the Constructors' Championship standings, the Japanese driver is ahead of Nyck de Vries after nine races. Tsunoda has had some bad luck so far this season, as he has been on the cusp of scoring points in three of the eight races that have taken place so far. Tsunoda has been racing in Formula 1 for three years. People are already guessing about what career steps he will take because of his natural ability. Given his current status in Red Bull's driver development plan, the team would be the best fit for him. But if the opportunity doesn't present itself soon, he could look elsewhere.
Yuki Tsunoda, a 23-year-old Japanese driver, has Honda's support as he races for AlphaTauri. As 2026 approaches, there have been talks of Tsunoda joining the Aston Martin Honda squad as a possible driver. In an interview with the media, Koji Watanabe, president of Honda Racing Corporation, confirmed the speculation. There is no doubt that the 23-year-old will be offered a new deal, and some have even speculated that Tsunoda may eventually replace Sergio Perez in the Red Bull vehicle.
