With Alfa Romeo's departure as title sponsor, Sauber will make a strategy shift for the 2024 Formula 1 season. For the next two seasons, the Swiss firm will be known as Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber, marking a significant change in its identity. But in 2026, when the team becomes Audi's works squad, things will really start to change.
After becoming Sauber's co-title partner in 2023, Stake is now serving as the operation's sole title partner and has secured complete name rights. In addition, the name rights for the 2024 car's chassis have been acquired by the streaming platform Kick, which is something that Sauber is thrilled to reveal. Thus, the collaboration between Stake, Kick, and the Sauber team will be further cemented with the forthcoming model being known as the KICK Sauber C44.

Sauber Motorsport Team Representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi said: "Sauber has always been about innovation, breaking the mould and defying convention. The partnership with Kick.com is the latest and boldest display of the philosophy that drives us. Kick.com is redefining the way live streaming is done and they will adopt the same disruptive approach in the world of Formula 1. With Kick.com, our goal is to make the next step in finding new and innovative ways to get closer to our fans."
After the 2023 season, Sauber fell three spots from their previous campaign to finish in ninth place in the constructors' championship. Despite this, the team is committed to keeping stability in their driver lineup for the upcoming season. Leading the charge for the forthcoming campaign will be Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu, who have been doing so thus far. The fact that both drivers' contracts are about to expire at the end of the season is interesting since it changes the dynamics of Sauber's driver roster.
F1: AlphaTauri's New Name Remains Unknown
With its present name appearing on the first FIA entry list for 2024, the AlphaTauri Formula 1 team has purposefully kept the details of its impending rebranding under wraps. The mysterious codename "RB" has fans guessing as the business just registered a copyright for "Racing Bulls". 'Racing Bulls' has emerged as the front-runner for the Faenza team's upcoming name change, which will occur after four seasons as AlphaTauri. But the squad has decided to leave everyone guessing until next year, so there will be no public announcement then.

Changes are occurring simultaneously and are not limited to AlphaTauri and Sauber. Aramco has been confirmed as the sole official title sponsor after the Aston Martin F1 Team and the oil giant announced a historic five-year extension of their collaboration. Importantly, as part of this all-inclusive arrangement, Cognizant is removing its branding from the title. Soon after the rebranding, the squad will be known as the "Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team."
