Formula One and the F1 Academy have stated that beginning with the 2024 season, each of the ten F1 teams would field a car with a female driver and their team livery. Within F1 Academy, there are five teams represented by a total of fifteen cars and fifteen drivers. These teams are the ART Grand Prix, Campos Racing, MP Motorsport, PREMA Racing, and Rodin Carlin. Starting in 2024, each Formula One team will have its livery on one vehicle and will nominate 10 drivers to compete in the series. The names of the drivers and the specifics of the liveries will be announced at a later date. In due time, announcements will also be made on the series' plans to sponsor the remaining five drivers. Each team's final driver roster for 2024 will be announced at a later time.

Formula1: More About F1 Academy
This year, the sport launched the F1 Academy to encourage more female drivers and provide a stepping stone for a female driver to enter the F1 championship. Since Lella Lombardi's 1976 Austrian Grand Prix debut, no female driver has taken the starting line for a Formula One race. Since the championship's inception in 1950, she and Maria Teresa de Filippis have been the only two women to compete in Formula One. With six races remaining in 2023, former W Series leader Marta Garcia currently holds the championship lead. F1's feeder series will join the F1 support bill in 2024, as previously stated. F1 just has one racing weekend left this year, and it's the season finale in Austin.
Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, added: “We created F1 Academy to bring about real and lasting change to ensure young female talent have the right system in place to follow and achieve their dreams. Today is a very important moment as it shows the impact the project is having and the support it is receiving from across the F1 community. Susie, the teams, and everyone involved are working tirelessly to ensure we go from strength to strength and continue to deliver on the important objective we have set out together."
Susie Wolff, Managing Director of F1 Academy said, "First and foremost, I want to thank the Formula 1 teams for their support and vision as we embark on this journey together. This landmark moment not only demonstrates the depth of support for F1 Academy from across the F1 community but will inspire a whole generation of young girls to realise the opportunities both on and off track in motorsport. As we join the F1 calendar for next year and host F1 Academy Discover Your Drive events in the lead-up to our races, I am confident that we will have a positive impact across our sport in the long term.”

Formula 1: What is the Purpose of F1 Academy
The goal of F1 is to provide more young women with opportunities to get track experience and compete with professional teams who are familiar with identifying and cultivating potential as a stepping stone to Formula 1. It is hoped that this would ease the process of entering F3. F1 hopes to help remove a significant barrier to entry by providing financial support to young women interested in motorsport.
While there has been no live television coverage to celebrate the series' debut this year, that is likely to change in 2024 when the series officially becomes a support event on the Formula One calendar. With three support races at the US Grand Prix in Austin as the season finale, Spanish driver Marta Garcia leads the title with six races left.
