Cougar Motorsports, the organisers of the Rainforest Challenge India, have announced the second edition of the Sanctuary Dash, scheduled to take place from February 3-7.
The event will kick start on February 3 at Radisson Blu Hotel in Nagpur, where a briefing session will be held. The following day, the convoy will travel to the Pench National Park, located in Seoni and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Next up, there will be an early morning safari for the participants, who will get to witness a variety of species, including tiger, leopard, wild dog, gaur, sambar, chital, among others. The participants will then leave for Kanha National Park, where they will spend their night in luxury tents.
At sunrise, another safari will beckon, with endangered Bengal tiger and over 200 species of birds to be sighted. At the end of the day, a cocktail party will be organised.
On the last day, en route to Nagpur for the culmination of the event, activities such as river crossing will be in store.
Any person holding a valid driving license, and a 2WD or 4WD vehicle can take part in the Sanctuary Dash. The participation charges, on a twin sharing basis, are Rs 85,000 per head.
