The Vantage GT3 is the first race car to be created as a result of the collaboration between Aston Martin Performance Technologies and Aston Martin Racing. This model has been in active development since the autumn of 2022, with thorough track testing starting in the third quarter of that year. It is an upgrade of the previous model, which was released in 2018.
By the end of the 2024 season, Aston Martin intends to field as many as 30 Vantage GT3s in competition, a clear indication of their ambitious goals. The car will be competing in other important races including the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, Spa-Francorchamps, and Le Mans, and it has already made its competitive debut at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona.
