The Red Bull Ace of Dirt winner will get an opportunity to train with ace Indian motorcyclist and Red Bull athlete, CS Santosh.
Red Bull Ace of Dirt, one of the most unique off-road motorcycle races to take place in the country, is all set to return for its second edition from 18-19th March 2021. Like the previous iteration, this year's event will also take place in Bengaluru at the Big Rock Dirtpark – an off-road riding facility designed by CS Santosh himself. As for the race format, 32 selected riders will compete on a specially laid-out course, which will demand a mix of motocross, dirt track, and endurance-style riding from competitors.
Sharing his thoughts on the second edition of Red Bull Ace of Dirt, CS Santosh said, 'In 2019, I grabbed the opportunity with energy drink giant Red Bull to dream up this event – the toughest two-wheel race in the country. After the successful first edition, I am super excited about the upcoming event. Red Bull Ace of Dirt is a unique concept, a new format of racing that has not been seen in India before. Hero MotoSports joined hands as part of their vision to promote motorsports and off-road biking culture in India, and I am thrilled that they will continue to support this year.'
Three-time Desert Storm winner Yuva Kumar claimed top honours in the inaugural edition of Red Bull Ace of Dirt in 2019. For those not aware, Kumar also has five national rally championship and dirt track racing titles under his belt. He has also finished the Raid de Himalaya rally in the top 5 and also secured multiple podium finishes in the INRC.
