Jaypee Sports International Limited (JPSI) has announced the commencement of sale of tickets for the third edition of the F1 Indian Grand Prix, which will be held at Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida on 25, 26 and 27 October this year.

JPSI – the organizer and promoter of Formula 1 in India – has launched the Sunday tickets simultaneously with the season tickets. A three-day Indian GP ticket for Natural & Picnic Stand has been priced at Rs 2000, whereas a Main Grand Stand (MGS) ticket for the race weekend is for Rs 15,000 (Upper-Tier) and a Sunday ticket for MGS Upper-Tier can be purchased for Rs 10,000.

The 2013 edition of the race will be the last before a scheduling change will see the F1 calendar skip the 2014 race, which as of now, has been planned to be held in March of 2015.

Following which the fifth of the originally contracted rounds of the Indian Grand Prix will be held in 2016, after which future editions of the race are subject to negotiations between JPSI and F1's commercial rights holder Bernie Ecclestone.
