Tata Safari Long Term Review, January 2025 Report
I attended two weddings last month, which meant I used all the seats, and all the storage space in the Safari. It didn’t disappoint.

As you must have read last month, Shivank decided to hand over the keys of our Safari long-term to me since I need a spacious vehicle for my family. Reason being the wedding season. I attended two weddings last month, which meant I used all the seats, and all the storage space in the Safari. It didn’t disappoint. Be it the front seats or the second & third rows, it’s super comfortable. The captain seats at the back were the most wanted within my family members because you can lounge around comfortably
Even the third row is spacious and my kids sat there comfortably even for long rides. The large sunroof makes the cabin airy & you feel you’re travelling in a chariot. I also love the design & features of the Safari. Although, most of the ADAS features were surprisingly not functioning due to a pending software update. If there’s one complain I have, it’s the boot space. With all seats up, there’s hardly any space to keep big bags. As a result, we had to squeeze our luggage in between the second and third rows and that’s not very practical.
I also have to mention the fuel economy of the Safari. Despite being big, heavy and an automatic, the diesel version is quite frugal as I am getting nearly 13km/l in mixed driving conditions. I can assure you I am not driving it with light right foot because the grunt of this diesel engine is quite addictive. To get that kind of fuel efficiency still, it’s quite impressive, I have to say.
