The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 has been with us for a few months now, but it has still clocked just under 5,000km and it hasn't even gone for its first servicing yet. As of now, we have had zero issues with the motorcycle and everything still feels brand new. Even though the bike was launched more than a year ago it still demands attention on the road and it draws the attention of other bikers wherever I go.

But apart from the zero maintenance issues and the fact that it looks great, the Interceptor is such a fun motorcycle to ride around town. The twin-cylinder engine is such a masterpiece and the ride quality is amazing. I have been commuting around Mumbai through all conditions and the bike never disappoints. It definitely is a great weekend highway rider too, but it is not very comfortable for long-distance touring.

It is a 650 twin but it doesn't really drink up much fuel and it gives a pretty decent fuel economy.
