I think one of the hallmarks of a good automobile is how it quickly becomes a part of your life's background. And that is exactly the scenario with the Ertiga in my household. With its practicality and space, it has quickly become our go to vehicle everyday, without us even realising that it has been my daily driver for almost six months now. Time truly flies when you're having fun. Of course, I often get requests from colleagues to borrow the Ertiga for long road trips, and last month Jared took it for a week long road trip across the Himlayas. Upon his return, he had nothing but praise for the Ertiga's practiality and comfort and even its fuel efficiency numbers.
As for me though, I recently had a peek at the new multimedia interface that is now being offered on Maruti Suzuki's new products and was slightly jealous of the people buying the newer cars. While the multimedia system of the Ertiga works quite well, the interface design does feel a bit old school. And, with the 10,000kms service coming up soon, I think I'm gonna check with the folks at Maruti Suzuki if they can upgrade the Ertiga's system too!
