Practicality pays
When it comes to everyday commuting in the city in comfort and without any worries, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire is definitely a perfect choice. What I love the most about the car is its spacious cabin. Ergonomically, the car is spot on. There’s nothing fancy about the dash layout – it’s simple and clean and has everything you need well within your reach and is also easy to operate. All the seats are comfortable enough to make you feel at home. A spacious cabin also means that everyone in the car gets more than enough room. The air conditioner works very well – it takes only a few seconds to have a nice cool cabin.
Another thing that I love about the Dzire is that it’s small enough to be manoeuvred through traffic and can be parked anywhere quite easily and its light and comfortable steering only adds to it.
Another great feature of the Dzire is its ride quality, which is simply fantastic. The suspension setup is perfect for urban roads. The car is always well planted on the road or even on the highway for that matter. In this respect, the Dzire continues to be my favourite urban commuter.
What I don’t like about the Dzire is still its automatic transmission, which is now jerky at times. I also am not too happy about the brakes, which really have inadequate bite in them. But, other than that, the Dzire is a really good car, and over the last nine months it has been performing incredibly well. Recently, I’ve had some thoughts of buying one for myself. But for now, I will continue to enjoy my long-term vehicle.
