When it first arrived at our office, the Hyundai Exter wasn’t my first pick when it came to choosing my favourite long term vehicle. However, once I started using it on an everyday basis, what stood out the most was the size of the vehicle. To start with, when you first look at the vehicle it does not look small or diminutive in any manner. It strikes the perfect balance between spacious and compactness, which was most evident when I had up to five people sitting in the car, while we went shopping for the wedding season.
In terms of features, the three areas which impressed all of us was the wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charging and sunroof. I had two sisters and my 11-year old brother with me during our shopping spree and these niceties are what they kept raving about. Honestly, the Exter felt like it struck the perfect chord to a middle-class family’s heart. However, the one complaint I did get was that the design does not seem too inviting for it to be the first choice for the young audience it is aimed at.
