Meco Racing driver returns to winning ways in Hyderabad as Mahadik and Francis take wins in fourth round of JK Tyre National Racing Championship

Vishnu Prasad of Meco Racing, defending champion Krishnaraj Mahadik of Mohite’s Racing and Paul T Francis of Meco Racing won the Senior Max, Junior Max and Micro Max respectively of the Round 4 of the JK Tyre-FMSCI National Rotax Max Karting Championship at Kart Centre in Hyderabad on the August 30 to September 1 weekend.
Prasad, has of course, also been competing with Senior Max rival Ameya Bafna in the JK Racing India Series that features Formula BMW cars as well as in the Formula LGB4 category.

Meco Racing’s Prasad was only briefly challenged for a win in the final by Dhruv Mohite of Mohite’s Racing at the start. Prasad soon got him back on the following lap to charge towards the second flag.

Bafna of Rayo Racing and Mohite’s Racing Chittesh Mandody eventually took the following two podium spots behind Prasad.

Bafna’s Rayo Racing teammates in the Junior Max category Krishnaraj Mahadik and Arya Gandhi took a 1-2 finish for the squad.

Paul T Francis broke perennial race favourite Pradyumna V Danigund’s rhythm by claiming victory in the Micro Max category for Meco Racing ahead of teammate Arjun Nair and Indian Karting’s Nikhil Bohra.

The championship also saw debuts by Ashish Narrandes and 15-year-old Sri Lankan Eshan David Pieris.
