Bajaj Auto Records 7% Total 2W Sales Growth in January
Bajaj Auto sold 3.28 lakh two-wheelers in January 2025, representing a 7% growth from 3.08 lakh units sold in the same month last year.

Bajaj Auto sold 3.28 lakh 2Ws overall in January 2025, marking an increase of 7% from the previous year’s 3.08 lakh units. The domestic market experienced a modest decline, with sales falling by 11% to 1.71 lakh units, while the exports saw a robust 37% growth, reaching a total of 1.57 lakh units. Bajaj saw positive growth across the commercial vehicle segment, with domestic sales rising by 1%, reaching 37,060 units, up from 36,693 units in January 2024. Exports in this segment experienced a remarkable 41% increase, totaling 15,567 units. Overall, Bajaj Auto posted a 10% year-on-year increase in total sales, reaching 52,627 units.
When combining sales of both two-wheelers and commercial vehicles, Bajaj Auto sold 2.08 lakh units in the domestic market, a 9% decline from last year's 2.30 lakh units. However, exports delivered strong results, with 1.73 lakh units shipped, reflecting a significant 37% increase over last year's 1.26 lakh units. In total, Bajaj Auto achieved 3.81 lakh units in sales, marking a 7% growth.

Bajaj Auto Year-to-Date (YTD) Sales
From April to January 2025, two-wheeler sales in the domestic market rose by 4% to 19.78 lakh units. Exports saw a strong surge of 14%, totaling 13.89 lakh units. This led to an 8% year-to-date growth, with total two-wheeler sales reaching 33.67 lakh units.
In the commercial vehicle segment, Bajaj reported a 4% growth in the same period, with 4.04 lakh units sold domestically. Exports in this segment saw a 22% rise, with 1.57 lakh units sold. This contributed to an 8% growth, with total sales amounting to 5.61 lakh units.

Total domestic sales of two-wheelers and commercial vehicles reached 23.83 lakh units, showing a 4% growth. Exports stood at 15.46 lakh units, reflecting a 14% increase. This brought the total sales to 39.29 lakh units, marking an 8% increase.
