It was unveiled just a day before the 2024 Dakar rally, which marks Audi's final campaign in the event. The Audi Q8 e-tron Edition Dakar rides on the same chassis as the Q8 55 e-tron quattro and takes design cues from the RS Q e-tron, the brand's Dakar rally challenger. Matrix LED headlights are standard equipment, and as the driver's door opens, a unique LED projection of "Edition Dakar" appears on the ground, adding a personal touch. With an eye-catching black base, the rare custom livery edition is available in three paint options: Siam Beige metallic, Mythos Black metallic, and Magnetic Grey. There will be only 99 units in total. Optional virtual side mirrors with cameras narrow the vehicle's width by 15 mm for a more streamlined appearance.
