In this issue, we’ve brought you all the machines that made headlines at the expo – but we left out one very important car. You see, the bright orange Cobra that we had at our very own stand certainly had a sting in its tail…
When Carol Shelby slotted a Ford V8 into the engine bay of an AC Cobra way back in 1962, never in his wildest dreams would he have imagined that a replica of his sixties sports car would take pride of place in the stand of an Indian auto magazine at an auto show in 2016. Well, it’s a funny old world – this particular example was beautifully brought to life by Pandit & Co. in New Delhi.
We hope you stopped by and took that ubiquitous selfie with the Cobra in the background. We hope you also tried your hand at the legendary Spa racing circuit in the Belgian countryside behind the wheel of a GT-R courtesy of the Nissan GT Academy simulator that also sat in the centre of our stand.
All in all, we hope you enjoyed the expo as much as we did!
