Audi inaugurates Thane dealership

Audi has become the first luxury car manufacturer to open a showroom in Thane, beating chief rivals Mercedes-Benz and BMW.

The dealership was inaugurated by Mr. Joe King, Head, Audi India and Mr. Gautam Modi, Dealer Principal, Audi Thane, in the presence of Bollywood actor Ileana D’Cruz.

Audi sees Thane as a high demand and growth potential region of Maharashtra, the state in which the German carmaker has seven dealerships.

“Maharashtra is increasingly becoming an important business hub for Audi with the ever-rising demand for luxury cars. Seven showrooms spread across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, and now Thane will add to the success story of Audi in the Western region of India. Our entry into Thane is an acknowledgement of the growing potential of this market.”

Audi Thane will soon expand to house the biggest Audi workshop in Mumbai region, with a service capacity of 40 cars per day.
