KTM 390 Enduro R India Launch on April 11: Here's What You Should Know

Good news for KTM fanboys! The prices for the much-awaited 390 Enduro R will be revealed on April 11, 2025. While the bike has already made its global debut, the India-spec version will come with some key differences. The most noticeable change is in the suspension, with the wheel travel reduced by around 30mm. The global model features 230mm of travel at both the front and rear, while the Indian version gets 200mm at the front and 205mm at the rear, the same suspension units as the 390 Adventure. Additionally, the seat height is lowered to 860mm from the global model’s 890mm, and the ground clearance has dropped from 272mm to 253mm. Aside from these adjustments, the rest of the bike remains unchanged. KTM fans in India can look forward to this exciting new model hitting showrooms soon!

KTM 390 Enduro R: Engine and Hardware
The Enduro R is powered by the same 399cc single-cylinder engine found in the 390 Duke and 390 Adventure, delivering a peak power of 45.37bhp at 8,500rpm and a torque of 39Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The bike features a 43mm USD front fork with adjustable compression and rebound, along with a monoshock rear suspension that offers adjustable rebound and preload.

For stopping power, the 390 Enduro R is equipped with a 285mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, complemented by switchable dual-channel ABS. The bike rolls on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, wrapped in tubed knobby tyres, designed specifically for superior off-road capability.
KTM 390 Enduro R: Design and Features
The 390 Enduro R, a dedicated off-road iteration of the 390 Adventure, is all about rugged functionality. It has a sturdy hexagonal headlamp with a flat cowl, LED turn signals, and a high-mounted front fender for better clearance. The flat handlebar is equipped with lever guards for extra protection, while the body panels are angular, offering an off-road ready-look. Other highlights are a side-mounted exhaust, a one-piece flat seat, and a belly pan.

Compared to its international counterpart, the India-spec bike has an increased dry weight (170 kg) of 11kg. The feature kit includes the 4.2-inch TFT display, selectable Street and Off-road riding modes, and a 9-litre fuel tank.
KTM 390 Enduro R: Expected Price
The KTM 390 Enduro R is expected to fetch a price ranging somewhere between Rs 3.15 lakh and Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
