Brixton is preparing to introduce the Storr 500 in the first of 2025 to expand its market presence in India. This comes after the brand introduced the Cromwell 1200, the Cromwell 1200 X, the Crossfire 500 X, and the Crossfire 500 XC here earlier this month. There is no official confirmation, but it is believed that the Storr 500 will first go on sale in Europe, followed by other international markets. This step will allow Brixton to focus on maximising the motorcycle's appeal in its core market before rolling it out elsewhere. For the uninitiated, the Austrian brand recently unveiled the production-ready Storr 500 at the most recent edition of EICMA.

Upon its launch, the Brixton Storr 500 is expected to be priced at approximately Rs 5.50 lakh. It will directly compete with the Benelli TRK 502, and serve as an alternative to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and the forthcoming KTM 390 Adventure R.

Brixton Storr 500: Major Highlights

The Storr 500's striking design is highlighted by its large fuel tank, which adds to its rugged appearance. The large fairing that connects the fuel tank to the headlamp not only adds to the Storr 500's visually striking appearance but also plays a crucial role in enhancing its aerodynamic efficiency and providing superior wind protection. On the mechanical front, the Brixton machine has a 486cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that delivers a maximum power of 47bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 43Nm at 6,700rpm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. It features a tubular steel frame, supported by upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock with a linkage. For enhanced off-road capability, the Storr 500 gets 19/17-inch tubeless spoke wheels, shod with knobby Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres.

Other Brixton Models in India

The four Brixton motorcycles currently available in India are the Cromwell 1200, Cromwell 1200 X, Crossfire 500 X, and Crossfire 500 XC, priced at Rs 7.83 lakh, Rs 9.10 lakh, Rs 4.75 lakh, and Rs 5.19 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom). Notably, all of these bikes are completely knocked down (CKD) units.

The Brixton Crossfire series is equipped with a 486cc parallel-twin engine that generates 46bhp at 8,500rpm and 43Nm at 4,350rpm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The Crossfire 500X stands out with its cafe racer-inspired design, while the Crossfire 500XC follows a scrambler design. The former has 17-inch wheels on both ends. The latter, on the other hand, features a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel.

The Brixton Cromwell lineup is driven by a 1222cc parallel-twin engine, delivering 82bhp and 108Nm. The Cromwell 1200 features a sleek, traditional roadster design, which makes it an appealing choice for riders who favour classic styling and reliable performance. The 1200X, on the other hand, is a special edition that takes the design a step further with distinctive gold rims, a vintage bench seat, a metal windscreen, and a unique logo. This bike is available only in 100 units. It offers enhanced off-road capabilities with knobby tyres.
