Twenty Two Motors’ futuristic electric scooter is now open for bookings.
Twenty Two Motors has officially launched its Flow electric scooter in India at Rs. 74,740. Positioned as a futuristic electric scooter, the Flow is connected to a cloud server at all times to ensure that the owner can keep an eye on the system's performance on their phone even if they are a thousand miles away. While the electric scooter is being used, aggregate rider and vehicle data is monitored to provide customised vehicle updates. Meanwhile, servers can analyse data and suggest any upcoming service requirements. The owner can also track the vehicle remotely, while the in-built Geo-Fencing monitors security against theft.
The Flow is powered by a DC Motor good for 90Nm of torque. It can be fully charged in five hours via a 5amp plug. It will also be offered with a dual battery model that will give it a range of 160km. For now the single battery model has a range of 80km. Innovative new features for a scooter include cruise control, reverse mode, phone charging, LED lamps all around and more. It is offered with a 50,000 km warranty.
Parveen Kharb, CEO and Co-Founder, Twenty-Two Motors, commented on the launch by saying: 'We are extremely happy and excited today. Flow, our first and flagship product, is way ahead of time, not just for the Indian market but also several international markets. Electric Mobility is the future of the world – a near future, not distant. The Government of India has the vision of making the country electrically mobile. We are more than aligned with this mission, rather ahead of it.'
'We are the only company in the world to provide matchless features such as state-of-art sensors, smart features, lithium ion storage and Internet of Things. Flow is the most convenient way to travel providing you ample range for your daily travel. Imagine never going to a gas station again. To start with, we plan to sell over 2 lakh units in the first 36 months of the launch,' added Vijay Chandrawat, COO and Co-founder.
