The Range Rover SV Autobiography LWB has made its India debut at the 2016 Auto Expo. The SUV had first made its global debut at the 2015 New York Motor Show.
The top-of-the-line Range Rover has received certain redesigning and development from Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division. The SV comes with a dual tone paint scheme with Santorini Black upper half of the car that can be paired with a choice of nine different colours for the lower half. The SV also gets a bespoke radiator grille finished in Graphite Atlas and polished chrome with a SV Autobiography badge on the rear tailgate.
The interiors feature knurled aluminium foot pedals, in addition to a new armrest adjuster designed for easier operation and a premium look. The rear passengers can enjoy the leather upholstery in addition to a refrigerator and electronically operated tables.
The global market will get the SV in the standard and LWB (Long Wheel base) versions, while India will only get the LWB variant. Under the bonnet is a 4.4-litre LR-SDV8 turbodiesel engine that churns out 335bhp and 740Nm of torque. Also available is a 5-litre LR-V8 supercharged 543bhp V8 petrol engine that generates 680Nm of torque. Both engines come with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
