Indian Motorcycles from the Polaris group unveiled the Blue Diamond Indian Roadmaster and the Pearl White Indian Chief Classic at the Auto Expo.
At the Polaris stand, the entire range of Indian Motorcycles which includes the Indian Scout, Indian Chief Dark Horse, Chief Classic,Chief Vintage, Chieftain and the Roadmaster on display. The Blue Diamond Indian Roadmaster has been launched at a price of Rs. 38.21 lakh and the Pearl White Indian Chief Classic for Rs. 24.13 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
Pankaj Dubey, Managing director of Polaris India Pvt. Ltd, who unveiled the new bikes said “India has become very important in our global plans and we are bringing in products that are built from the heart and have authenticity, grit and strength as additional bonus in its core and we have displayed the same attributes in this Auto Expo. The Indian Chief Classic is powered by 49-degree V-Twin Thunder Stroke 111 engine that churns out 139 Nm of torque at 2600 rpm.
Also at the Expo, Polaris also launched their Sportsman 110cc youth quadbike in India. the Sportsman is powered by a 112cc engine the Polaris Sportsman is a recreational ATV intended for children from 12-18 years of age. For safety, the Sportmans also comes with parent adjustable speed limiter, long-travel front and rear suspension in addition to electric start.
Polaris also has their most powerful All Terrain Vehicle they make. The Polaris RXR XP Turbo which has an all new 1000cc Polaris ProStar Turbo charged engine that produces 144bhp. that gives this superlight offroader, supercar like performance figures on and offroad. The turbo has a softly sprung suspension with 18-inch suspension travel with an on-demand 4-wheel drive system.
