Going by the specifications, expect the new Honda X-Blade to be positioned below the CB Hornet 160R.
Honda has taken the wraps off the new X-Blade, the company’s brand new 160cc motorcycle.
The new X-Blade is mostly based on the CB Hornet 160R, however, it features a slightly raised design, which is dominated by the long front visor. The X-Blade is powered by the same 162.7cc, air-cooled, single cylinder motor that produces 13.93bhp of max power and 13.9Nm of peak torque, which are a bit lesser than the Hornet.
It features a transformer-inspired full LED headlamp with position lamps, an LED tail lamp, alloy wheels, a dual outlet muffler and a digital metre. Furthermore, the bike has a wheelbase of 1,347mm, features monoshock suspension and sits on a 130mm rear tyre. More features include gear position indicator, hazard switch and service due indicator.
Price of the Honda X-Blade will be announced closer to its market release in March this year. The bike will be made available in five colours – Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Spartan Red, Matte Frozen Silver Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black and Matte Marshal Green Metallic.
