Mahindra BE 6e, XUV 9e to Launch on November 26, Here's What We Know So Far

Mahindra will launch the XUV 9e and BE 6e on November 26. Both models are built on the INGLO platform, which according to Mahindra focuses on performance, efficiency, and safety. This platform uses the latest battery technology, enabling 20-80 per cent charge in 20 minutes with a 175 kW DC charger. It also supports driver assistance systems and over-the-air updates.
The modular design allows flexibility for various body types and is central to Mahindra’s plans to expand its eSUV range. The XUV 9e and BE 6e will demonstrate the platform’s capabilities and Mahindra's EV expertise to grow its presence in the electric vehicle market. This launch signals a move to address India's increasing demand for electric vehicles.

Mahindra BE 6e, XUV 9e: Design
The BE 6e displays a glowing "BE" logo, aligning with its name, while the XUV 9e carries an illuminated infinity symbol. At the rear, both SUVs are expected to feature connected LED taillamps, enhancing their visual appeal.
The XUV 9e features vertically stacked headlamps positioned below a connected LED lightbar, while the BE 6e has horizontally aligned headlamps framed by C-shaped daytime running lights. Both models include a closed-off grille, aerodynamic alloy wheels, flared wheel arches, and prominent character lines.
Mahindra BE 6e, XUV 9e: Interior
The Mahindra BE 6e offers a dual-screen setup, combining infotainment and instrument displays, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated BE logo, a split centre console, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting.
In contrast, the XUV 9e features a triple-screen layout, including a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, and a passenger display. It also includes a panoramic sunroof and a two-spoke steering wheel.

Both models will come with a wireless phone charger, multi-zone AC, ventilated and powered seats, a premium audio system, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, V2L (vehicle-to-load) functionality, multiple regeneration modes, and Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).
Mahindra BE 6e, XUV 9e: Powertrain
The Mahindra BE 6e and XUV 9e are expected to share the same battery packs and electric motors. While detailed specifications remain undisclosed, Mahindra has confirmed that these eSUVs will offer battery capacities between 59kWh and 79kWh. Both models will come in AWD and RWD configurations.
