Aprilia Shiver 900 Makes a China-Exclusive Comeback After Hiatus
The Aprilia Shiver 900 continues to be powered by an 896cc V-twin liquid-cooled engine that generates a maximum power output of 94bhp at 8,750rpm and a peak torque of 90Nm at 6,500rpm.

After a long break, Aprilia has revived its Shiver 900 naked streetbike, but it will only be sold in China as of now. The bike was once available in India but was discontinued due to tight emission regulations and limited sales. Now, it’s making a comeback in China, while its availability in other markets is still not confirmed. The updated Shiver 900 keeps the same design as the older model, with a few modern updates like new body panels, LED lighting, and a revised tail section. Hardware-wise, the Shiver 900 retains its trellis frame, supported by a 41mm USD fork sourced from Kayaba and an alloy swingarm.

The braking system consists of a 320mm double disc setup at the front and a 240mm rear disc, while the bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. As for features, the only significant update is the addition of keyless ignition. Mechanically, the Shiver 900 preserves its 896cc V-twin liquid-cooled engine, which delivers a maximum power output of 94bhp at 8,750rpm and a peak torque of 90Nm at 6,500rpm.
The Aprilia Shiver 900 will be available in China, priced at 68,800 yuan (approximately Rs 8.17 lakh, excluding taxes). The chances of Aprilia bringing this new naked streetbike to India are highly unlikely.
